Obtaining Your Harvard Identification (ID) Card.  To gain access to most Harvard facilities you must show your Harvard photo ID card. Students obtain their IDs at registration. Visiting researchers and faculty will receive their ID cards by mail from ID Card Services (Holyoke Center , room 556, 617-495-3322). Harvard Medical School appointees and scholars at the affiliated hospitals may obtain a temporary ID card at the Kresge Building (677 Huntington Ave. 1 st floor, Monday through Friday, 10a.m. to 2 p.m., 617-432-0389). Visiting researchers or faculty who have not received an ID card should check with their department to be sure that formal appointment papers have been filed with and approved by the appropriate Dean's Office.
